CRASH 2012 Introduction

It is hard to believe we have been in Vail for 20 years!

This year we once again have an expanded workshop format to better meet participants needs (see program). The program and topics are chosen to help improve perioperative outcomes by reviewing the latest literature in cardiac, obstetrical, pain management , and pediatric anesthesia.

There are reviews and updates on caring for the patient with neurological disease undergoing non-neurosurgical surgery; preparing the patient with chronic renal disease for the OR; care of the patient with RAD and bronchospasm; evaluation of the cardiac patient undergoing non-cardiac surgery; pharmacogenetics and its effects on analgesia; managing the patient with OSA; the rational approach to the use of hemodynamic agents and daily decision making in the ICU.

What really sets CRASH apart is not just that we provide superb speakers on timely and important topics, reviews and literature updates, but the number and variety of our interactive workshops and panels
